Our saga begins in August 2019, when the Centennial Committee of the Rotary Club of Lafayette hatched the idea of creating a project to memorialize the first 100 years of our Club. The Centennial Committee blessed the concept that we should obtain large sugar mill gears (that resembles the Rotary symbol) as the centerpiece of the project. The project would focus on the 4 Way Test and the Centennial. President Nanette Heggie quickly drafted Rotarian Fabian Patin to spearhead.
